MTN Dew Rise Energy was the drink for anyone who needed motivation. But a naturally-gifted 6’9” basketball legend isn’t exactly anyone. So we brought LeBron down a notch for the Super Bowl, and let the world watch him rise.

Or we would have, anyway. Smaller Baller was almost ready for the big game when MTN Dew Rise got sued by Rise coffee, and lost. We tried to change the name and run the spot, but LeBron couldn’t rise above it...he pulled out.
I wound up with an unseen campaign I love, and some nice BTS.
